Below left is an early draft of what will become my final essay for graduate school: the exploration of male homosocial desire in Renaissance and Restoration drama. Notice that the first two paragraphs of the early draft have been combined into one paragraph. What else do you notice about the versions (aside from the bold print which functions as a part of my notetaking system)?
